Homeplace Strawberries and More is located about 5 miles outside of Farmville in Pitt County NC. The Sutton Family began farming over 40 years ago with row crops. They are a diverse farming family planting a variety of crops such as Wheat, Soybeans, Corn, & Cotton. They also have 18 Poultry Broiler Houses and now have added Strawberries, Pumpkins, and Vegetables to their list of crops.
The owners of Homeplace Strawberries and More are Steve & Judy Sutton, Jonathan & Leslie Sutton, and Jennifer & Phillip Suggs. The Sutton family wanted to provide an avenue for kids in our area to learn about agriculture while having fun in a safe fun environment. They opened Homeplace Strawberries & More in Spring of 2018 with U Pick and Pre-Picked Strawberries. They offer a variety of Vegetables during the Spring and Summer. They also off a Pumpkin Patch and Corn Mazes in the Fall. They offer Field Trips throughout the school year for preschools and school-aged kids. They also offer a space for youth group gatherings, Family Reunions, and Birthday Parties. They hope that this adds another vital business to the Farmville area and that they achieve their goals in educating kids and adults about agriculture!
